work it up baby!

2007, January 10

In the family, I am known as an enthusiastic child whom ‘likely’ up to do anything. I did so many activities, after school classes, be that music, ballet, jazz dance, photography, Japanese, English, Islamic, gym sessions, yoga, pilates, tae kwon do, meditation, tae boxing, plus many more. Looking back the old days, I even wondering where the hell those energies coming from? But it wasn’t that simple for me to do it all nicely. There were always times when I over-worked myself then I ended up in hospital ward. So many times. Influenza. Typhus. Dengue. Fatigue. Sprain muscles. Disjointed toes. Bleeding nails. They came like roll call. One after another. On top of that, I was the only child who seriously ‘got down and dirty’ with all those activities and made the most of them, as well as to perform in public. I was so commited to made the ends meet. I didn’t necessarily do great and this is the glitch, they don’t really come up good in real life. So far, as I age, I know what is possible for me to do, in quality not in quantity. This quality of positive activity that I’m going to do the most, is becoming my 2007 resolution: get active!

Kien just came back from Hanoi few days back and he showed me the Samsung’s 7 minutes commercial clip of Anycall. It starred by Lee Hyori as a main character, where she dances for audition, fall and rise. It’s good, hip and believe it or not it gets me inspired! Not to be inspired to buy Samsung or anything consumtive like that, but it inspires me to be healthier that I could be. I realize how unfit I am, how many times I procrastinate to break some sweat. I proceeded to search some aerobic VCD that I raided from my sister’s stash and just now I did excersise. I feel so refresh now, and somewhat relief.

Isn’t she so hot? :)
